Gettin' Creative

I have often mentioned how I don't have a creative bone in my body. Well, that may not be true. I may have one teeny-tiny creative bone. Taking a page out of Sarah Lynn's book, I decided to try my hand at Bakerella's Cupcake Bites. My friend and her daughter came over and we made them for her daughter's 9th birthday party. Here are my results:

They were fun to make, albeit time consuming. I made the cake the night before (Devil's Food with cream cheese frosting) and refrigerated it overnight. I made the cake balls the next day before they came over. Then we spent about 2 hours making and decorating them. It was fun, and J has loved the leftovers (we made about 85 of them), but I'd have to really be motivated to do it again.
