Problems in Rattie Corner

Well, it's been too quiet over here. I should have known.

Tonight I found copious amounts of blood in the big girl's hammock. Upon investigation, I found the culprit. Little Half Rat is bleeding from her "girlie parts". Dammit. :(

Why do they have to do this on the weekends?? I don't know what's wrong with her. Tomorrow I'm going to call the vet and see if there's an exotics on duty. I don't think there will be, but I'm going to check.

She's still really active, and running around. She doesn't seem to be running a fever. She is still eating, etc. She is actively cleaning the bleeding. I just don't want her suffer. If it's inoperable, I'd rather put her down than have her bleed to death or something else.

Please wish us luck. Pray that Halfie doesn't suffer. We love her too much to let her go that way.
